Below, you will find an email from Dr. Russell regarding an opportunity to help with an activity regarding one of the Beall Poetry Festival

poets, Stanley Plum. If you are interested in helping, please email Steve Petersheim (steven_petersheim@baylor.edu). The week of the presentation described below would be March 15-19, and the Beall Poetry Festival is the following week (Thursday-Saturday).

Steve,

Dr. Vitanza would like EGSA to host a discussion of the Beall poet Stanley Plumly the week after spring break. We would like EGSA members to pick a few poems by Plumly and lead faculty and student discussion of his work. You would pick the time and place that week. A number of his poems can be found online. I know nothing whatsoever about his work.

Can you please convey this message to EGSA and ask for several volunteers to do this? I know you all have your conference coming up, but the chair is desirous that EGSA do this. Let me know if you have any questions.
