This meeting was so well-attended and lively I didn’t even try to be witty in my notes. Read the attached documents for lots of important information about the identity of EGSA, conference study committees, independent studies, social events, and more.

* This Friday: The Penultimate English Dept. Tea!
The tea is a great place to mix with professors and give input/ hear feedback from professors about questions, seminar wishes, etc. (2:30 in lounge, as usual).
* A fun opportunity from GSA (via Vivien): Dia Tournaments!
If you are interested in playing on a GSA team in the Dia del Oso tournament, contact Jonathan_Perry@baylor.edu.
Your choices for team competition this year are:
Ultimate Frisbee (COED- 7 players min)
3 vs 3 Basketball
Dodgeball (6 players min)
Sand Volleyball
– 2 on 2 (mix team, 1 female, 1 male)
– 4 on 4 (COED- 4 players min)
Tug of war (6 players on a side, 1000lbs total for female teams, 1200lbs total for male teams)
There are a few individual sports that you may participate in as well: Racquetball, ping pong, tennis and a 5k fun run.
Tournaments begin at 11am on Dia (which will be April 22) and continue until all games have been played.
