EGSA: First Meeting Wednesday at 9!

Attention All English Graduate Students:
Though I am sure all of you took careful notes from last week’s digest (and perhaps have committed a few of the more melodious

passages to memory?), I want to remind you of one item from Friday’s email: tomorrow, Wednesday, September 1, we will have our first English Graduate Student Association (EGSA) meeting at 9 AM in G03. Please come and contribute your questions and wisdom to our meeting.

Remember, participating in EGSA
gives you a forum for voicing your questions and concerns about any and all aspects of the graduate program
connects you with others who are interested in making the English Department an even better place to study and work (Labor

Day, anyone?)
offers ways to be connected to the rest of the university through participation in the larger Graduate Student Association (GSA) provides lots of social activities throughout the year, including picnics, Bad Wine/Bad Poetry nights, and much more
