EGSA: Please vote NOW for the Conference Study Committee

Dear EGSA,
It is very important to have our Conference Study Committee settled as soon as possible, so I am sending out the ballot today, rather

than waiting for the weekly digest. Below you will find a message about the purpose of this committee, along with the ballot. You may vote even if you have not yet joined EGSA officially, but remember that your vote is a pledge that you do plan on joining and paying the $10 dues. Thank you in advance for your vote! The more people we have participating in EGSA, the better life and work becomes for all English grad students!

As you have already been informed, the EGSA Conference Study Committee is a recently formed committee attempting to gather information from the existing English graduate students to ascertain what goals we have for a possible graduate student conference. This committee will meet to discuss possible models for the conference and will serve as a group to analyze results from EGSA input. In analyzing this information, we will develop planning strategies and instructions for upcoming conferences and, time permitting, will begin planning the next EGSA conference event.

We still need to fill one position on this committee. The nominees are: Joshua Boyd

Lisa Echtenkamp

Dustin Morrow Julie Ooms Margy Thomas
