EGSA Digest 8.24.12

August 24, 2012 EGSA Digests 0

Dear EGSA,

Welcome (back). We hope the transition into a new semester and, for some of you, to a new graduate program has been smooth.

For the benefit of the first-year students, the older students who are still puzzled by the state of their inbox on Fridays, and those who are not part of the English Graduate Student Association and somehow made it on my email list, a word about this email:

Every week or two the EGSA secretary sends out an email to everyone in the English graduate program with announcements and information about upcoming events. It’s called the Digest, presumably because your body can break down an entire meal and absorb the nutrients in the same amount of time it takes to read the email. If you have information that you would like to force upon your peers, please let me know.
