Thursday, Mar. 18 – 1:30 EGSA Meeting: Come even for part of the meeting if you can! Light snacks will be provided. Conference Committee chairs for our own April conference will give updates and opportunities to join their committees (good lines for your CV!)

April Dates Coming Later… Conference: April 16-17 ALSO – Two Important Items: PLEASE READ!

1. We will be forming a conference planning committee at the end of the semester. This committee will take the results of this year’s conference and make recommendations regarding future conferences. If you would like to serve on this committee, you may self- nominate. We will vote on committee members at the end of the semester (along with electing some new officers for EGSA).

2. EGSA needs change! We operate as though we were a small student organization, but we have become a large, diverse student group. I apologize to all EGSA members for not being more proactive about reshaping EGSA accordingly. Some of our meetings are only about relaying information that can easily be relayed via email. All this to say, we will be soliciting your suggestions about how to make EGSA better serve your/our needs in the future. In addition to voting, our final EGSA meeting this semester will include a discussion on EGSA’s future shape and direction.
