It’s that time of year: you sit down to draft a thesis for that big seminar paper, or to begin grading the Babel-high pile on your desk, when it occurs to you that you really should, indeed, must check your email–right now. After nobly resisting the urge for five minutes, you give in and are rewarded with another brilliant EGSA digest. Consider this digest your invitation to procrastinate just a little bit longer:

This week, you should

READ the results of the recent independent study survey (attached). These results have been sent to the GPD, Chair, and our faculty advisors in preparation for the graduate faculty meeting tomorrow.

REMEMBER that EGSA has two upcoming meetings: an executive council meeting next Monday, after which we will announce open positions and other items to be voted upon at our last General EGSA Meeting on Tuesday, May 4 @ 11 A.M. in CS 301.

CONTACT a member of the council (Steve, Mary, Virginia, Laura, or Naomi) if you have any issues you would like EGSA to discuss at either of these final meetings.

ENROLL in Spanish this summer if you have any interest in taking this language. The course is in danger of being cancelled this summer due to low enrollment. Cancellation this summer may make it harder to have Spanish as a regular summer offering. Any questions about this should be directed to Dr. Losey.
