EGSA: Sweetness and 7th-Grade Math

September 17, 2010 EGSA Digests 0

Enjoy!

EGSA Announcements

**Dr. Barcus has invited graduate students and significant others to a dessert social at his house this Sunday, September 19, at 4 PM. (He did not include an ending time, but 4-6 is probably a safe range) Dr. Barcus provided the follow directions:

**Please contact Mary Frank ASAP if you are interested in helping EGSA provide one of the lovely department teas. Helping with a tea would be an excellent way to show how graduate students support the English department. Here is Mary’s note:
Calling all bakers and baked-good-purchasers! The English Department has issued a call to student organizations to help provide food for one of the Friday teas. Would EGSA like to bring food on one of the days? We have the following dates available: Nov. 5, Nov. 19, and Dec. 3. If you have a preference for the date and would like to bring something, please send your reply to Mary Frank (Mary_Kolner@Baylor.edu) ASAP and I will let Mrs. Callan know to put us on the schedule.

Non-EGSA Announcements

If you are anyone you know is interested in tutoring a 7th-grade boy in math, please contact Bethany Bear (bethany_bear@baylor.edu). My neighbors are looking for a tutor for their son. If your are interested, I will put you in touch with them directly.
