Spring Break

  • A solitary drop of liquid joy traces its way down your cheek, only to be followed by a torrent of blissful gushing. No shame, brother. No shame. Same for you, sister.

President Kilpatrick Sends the Following

Greetings to all and sundry,

I would like to express my most heartfelt and sincere gratitude for your participation in last week’s preview weekend. The event was a rousing success, and I’ve heard from many of the applicants that they felt thoroughly welcomed. Perhaps more importantly, many of the faculty members who attended the shindig have communicated to me that the event’s success was solely our doing. Dr. Barcus himself said that he was stunned by our willingness to step in, chat up the candidates, and extend such gracious hospitality to them. At the risk of sounding like a Texan cliche, y’all made us look good! So, thank you.

Thank you,

Nathan Kilpatrick

[Editorial insert: Don’t email me, your humble EGSA servant and deliverer of messages written by others, if you want to purchase any of these books. I like you; I just can’t help you in this particular regard. Instead, email Dr. Scales: Laine_Scales@baylor.edu] Please bring cash to pay for the books.

  • Two wrongs don’t make a right, but three lefts do. For the record, Mark Twain didn’t say that. In fact, I don’t even know if it’s true.

So, EGSA, I leave you for a week with this Digest tip: Avoid studying in the lounge of the Hankamer Business building if you love truth and goodness.
