EGSA-itement; you know you’ve missed it

Hey EGSA,

Unlike the typical dreadful emails you receive in August that remind you that summer is ending, this one announces events that you actually want to attend. Sarah Clark writes:

Orientation fun times are almost upon us. On Wednesday, August 21, there will be a dessert social in the CS 4th floor lounge from 1:30-2:15. Email Sarah Clark or Lindsay Fenton if you’d like to bring a dessert or help with set-up. EGSA orientation will be from 2:15-3 in CS 101. And of course Ninfa’s at 5.

If you just can’t wait that long to meet the newbies, we’re having an informal get-together this Friday (Aug. 16) at Common Grounds at 10 am. Feel free to drop by and meet some of the incoming students.

It occurs to me that some of you on this email list may have, unlikely as it seems, graduated. If you have left the program in this or any other way and therefore need to be removed from the EGSA mailing list for the 2013-2014 school year, please let me know. If you are still enrolled, you are not permitted to not receive these emails. Welcome almost back.
